The Wythe Hotel is a grown up sanctuary on the North Williamsburg waterfront. Carefully balancing authentic Brooklyn with modern luxury, the developers set out to create a sophisticated version of the talent and creativity of the neighbourhood. The result is a chic, yet unpretentious vibe that successfully blends industrial, minimalist aesthetic with luxe hospitality.
The converted red brick textile factory was modernised with a three-story glass and aluminium extension and the original wooden interiors re-worked into beds and ceilings by local craftsmen. The 72 rooms feature heated concrete floors, pared down industrial décor and floor to ceiling windows- many with a breathtaking view over the East River.
WE LOVE: Sunset cocktails from The Ides rooftop bar on level 6, Brunch at Reynards - the in-house farm to table restaurant, browsing through the A.P.C pop up store in the lobby, the commitment to embracing the local flavour from the up-cylced décor to the organic locally sourced mini bar and the adjoining “band rooms” that often host touring bands from the Brooklyn Bowl.
