THERE'S NOTHING NOT TO LOVE about Melbourne.
It’s your quick duck out of your city for the weekend, a business day trip, your home away from home or a ‘staycation’ (if you are, in fact, from Melbourne).
For any of the reasons that see you fit to frequent Melbourne, it’s a city to celebrate when it comes to eating, shopping, playing and sleeping.
Laneways filled with street art, streets filled with the hustle and bustle of city life, and amongst it all - a city adorned with culture, wonderment and warmth.
Fashion, food and events are all more than adequate reasons to take the trip. Especially in Autumn when the weather is prime for whipping out your favourite layering pieces and taking your wintery tastebuds for a test run.
You can’t quite describe Melbourne unless you have physically and mentally felt the effects. So read on and let us not have to convince you…
A hotel on top of a carpark. Please repeat? A hotel on top of a carpark. Yes, we give you, NOTEL. A hotel that’s not a hotel. On the roof of a carpark situated on Flinders Lane, owned by James Fry and his father, you will find six Airstream Caravans from the 70’s nestled along pink and white paint splattered walls and on blood red carpeted floors. Inside, they're surprisingly spacious with smooth white and grey interiors with soft pink touches. You’ll sleep with bamboo sheets, drink Paul Louis Champagne and eat gourmet chocolates and chips from the free mini bar (yes… free), all the while enjoying them on your private deck. Later cleanse off with premium bathroom products and resign to your queen size bed. P.S. There’s free parking too (after all you are on top of a car park).

Green With Envy
As one of the most cultivated fashion stores in Australia, Green with Envy will definitely have that specific piece you’re after – you know the one. Whether it’s the perfect Alexander Wang tee or a beautifully structured Dion Lee dress for a date night, it’s here. Most of the beauty within this store (besides the breathtaking fabrics and silhouetted pieces), comes from the relationship GWE has with the designers they stock and how they endeavour to find up and coming designers within Australia. They combine the rest of the worlds’ style with ours, which is what makes this store so unique and eye opening to be in.

“It is not a shop. It is not a factory. It is a space for the baker…” A visionary croissanterie, Lune Croissant is a place where bakers strive to make nothing but perfect croissants. First starting out as a ‘hole in the wall’ joint, Lune soon realised the gushing responses from the public and evolved into something bigger but also something of perfection and love. Sourcing the highest quality ingredients, they are treated with respect and dignified with the utmost attention to detail to consistently make a delicious croissant. Their croissants are like a relationship - so deep in love, with so many layers. Requiring attention, time and commitment with bursts of excitement and new discoveries that are visionary flavours and pushed boundaries.

The Crux & Co
At Crux & Co, the team and what they create is all about balance and choices. Depending on what your eyes or taste buds seek out first - you have buttery pastries on one side and Korean inspired savoury dishes on the other. Croissants, tarts and eclairs are the culprits (house made), that’ll have your knees weak for more. Roti wraps, Green papaya salads, roasted vegetables with rib eye steak and toasted bread are but to name a few on the lunch menu. We won’t even get into the French toast with edible flowers and fairy floss. Looking delightfully Swedish, the interiors are bright and minimal making it a fresh experience, without the feeling of being cramped.
