TO ALL OUR LUMIRA LOVES – Valentines Day has graced us once again with (hopefully) all the love that your heart desires and more, for you and your special human.

We’ve compiled just a few of our favourite moments of love to remind us all “love actually is all around”.

R&R, for us, stands for Rachel and Ross. The couple that everyone so desperately wanted to be together, finally pulled through with the big ‘I LOVE YOU’ moment… for the millionth time. This time it was for real and all our hearts melted into one. Rachel gets off her flight to Paris to be with Ross and swoon in love for years to come… or so we like to imagine. They were finally not on a break.

Spoiled Alert!
We are not talking about the final scene, although that was utterly laden with love. We’re talking about the moment Baby cleverly confesses her love for Johnny without actually saying the L word. “Most of all, I’m scared of walking out of this room and never feeling my whole life the way I feel when I’m with you.” The so much love it hurts kind of love!

Opera, roses, a limousine, a handsome fella and a heartbroken girl; we give you Pretty Woman’s final scene. Ready to walk out the door and out of his life, Vivien is swept down the fire escape stairs by Edward in a final throwdown of love. As Edward takes the chance and meets her halfway (literally), Vivien rescues him right back with her love. This true fairy tale ending will always welcome teary eyes.

Love over age – every time. On a note of seriousness, no matter how young you are, love belittles age and if you feel love in your own way then revel in it and never let a soul tell you otherwise! Love Actually’s Sam displays this ideal in no way better than the ever so romantic airport run. To realise that the love of his life does, in fact, know his name, is all Sam needs to confirm his pursuit of love was worthwhile (plus the cutest ever kiss on the cheek). Do people do this in real life?

After we’ve unravelled all your tears and heartthrobs, we’re coming forth with the real deal. The ultimate love story. The one and only look of love that swooped through the globe for 8 years. Michelle and Barack Obama. Not all the time do we need words or grand gestures to reassure us of love, for some it is simply a look - no matter who is watching. The eyes speak a thousand words and we know that for sure thanks to these two smitten lovebirds.
