Delivery & Returns

Before our products are shipped each item is carefully inspected and packaged so that it arrives to you in perfect condition. All parcels in Australia are shipped via Shippit to ensure that your purchase is delivered as quickly and as safely as possible.

This Shipping policy forms part of the Lumira website terms and conditions.

SHIPPING CHARGES

Shipping charges are calculated within the shopping cart. Simply add a product to your shopping cart and select your destination. Your shipping price and approximate delivery timeframe will be displayed. Shipping is calculated at the end of your transaction.

Important: If you are not at the address supplied when our Shippit partners attempts delivery it is your responsibility to organise the pickup or redelivery of your order within 7 days. For information on your delivery always check the tracking information provided and if you have any questions please contact Lumira at info@atelierlumira.com

INSURANCE

Your products are insured against loss while in transit to you. Once the parcel has been received (all packages require a signature as acceptance) the goods are deemed your responsibility and insurance from Lumira ceases. It is expected that if an item needs to be returned to Lumira that insurance be placed on the item/s whilst in transit.

WHEN WE SHIP

In-stock products that are purchased on weekdays before 2pm (excluding public holidays) will be dispatched the very same day.

DELIVERY TIMES

All orders are shipped by Shippit. Orders received before 2pm each day will ship the very same day and be scheduled for delivery with two to six business days for all free shipping orders. We try hard to ship in the times quoted and faster if possible‚ but sometimes deliveries can be delayed beyond our control. When your product is dispatched you will receive an email containing a consignment number and tracking instructions. This number will allow you to track the progress of your parcel.

Please note that parcels shipped to remote areas may take an additional day to deliver. Please email concierge@atelierlumira.com for further details. To avoid delays in receiving your parcel, we suggest that you have the item delivered to an address where someone will be available to sign for it. Best to use a work address so you get it quickly. PO Boxes are accepted.

INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY

LUMIRA offers DHL express shipping to most countries. All international orders incur a flat rate of $49. This includes both trackable and non-trackable shipping services, depending on your location.

This covers transportation charges only.

Depending on an order’s final destination, we expect delivery to take between 2 - 5 business days. On occasion, parcels may be held up in customs which can lead to delays in delivery.

We do our best to ensure a quick delivery, but do not take responsibility for any delays and extra fees which may be incurred via customs and duties offices in other countries.

Please be aware that once an order has been booked and packed, it is not possible to redirect or cancel shipments.

Our online store collects duties on your behalf so that your purchase is seamless from end to end.  Any taxes are paid by the recipient.

RETURNS & EXCHANGES

Change of Mind

If you've had a change of heart about an item you have ordered, we'll need to receive it back to us unopened and unused, in the original packaging.

FAULTY PRODUCTS

Items are carefully inspected and packaged before they are shipped. Damage occurring en route is highly unlikely however should this occur please contact us as soon as possible. Keep all of the original packing material and we’ll provide you with instructions. We’ll investigate the fault or damage immediately.

We require you to:
1. Contact us to report the fault within 2 days. All returns must be authorised by Lumira Customer Service.
2. Provide proof of purchase.
3. We’ll supply you with instructions and investigate the fault or damage immediately.
4. We will organise the return of the faulty or damaged product to Lumira. Please note that products must be returned to us in their original condition and in their original packaging. Products must not have been opened or used.
5. Please note that refunds will be processed using the original payment method.
6. All returns and exchanges are subject to our terms and conditions.
7. Non faulty products: exchange or Lumira credit only. Please choose your purchase carefully as Lumira does not provide a refund in this case. Lumira does however provide exchanges or alternatively a credit to use through the Lumira website at a later date.

For an exchange or a credit on a product we require you to:
1. Contact us to report the need to exchange the product within 7 days. All returns must be authorised by Lumira Customer Service.
2. Provide proof of purchase.
3. We’ll supply you with a return authority and instructions on how to return the product. The item must be returned to Lumira within 7 days of the return authority. Please note that you are responsible for returning the product to Lumira and all charges incurred are at your expense. It is a requirement that the items be sent using Registered Post with the appropriate insurance to ensure the items are secure in transit.
4. Upon receiving the product it will be inspected to ensure that it hasn't been opened. Products must be returned to Lumira in their original condition and in their original packaging.
5. Once the return has been processed you will either be supplied with the exchange item/s of your choosing or a Lumira credit code. Please note that you are responsible for all applicable shipping charges.
6. All returns and exchanges are subject to our terms and conditions.

Lumira is not responsible for and will not accept the return of any item that is not returned in a new and unused condition. All returns must be authorised by Lumira Customer Service.

Please note that Lumira does not accept returns on sale items.
